Quote Just found this out myself. Audio recordings within PD15 are fine. With Screen Recorder I'm guessing it has set lower audio settings by default which you can't change this as you can within PD. So my voice is all warbly. I upgraded from 13-15 especially to take advantage of the Screen Record option. Have emailed suport to hear waht they have to say about it.

Don't hold your breath. I notified support Monday Nov 21. I have yet to hear from them. I've wasted enough time with this software. I hope this issue is resolved to your satisfaction.

I tried multiple screen recordings with and without hardware encoding using MP4 and WDM. The audio is distorted and the video is fine in all instances. I suspect a faulty aac encoder. AAC files play fine when using other video players.

I tried bandicam screen recorder. I recorded games and youtube videos. The audio was fine in all recordings.

I played PD screen recording videos made by others and their audio is fine so I'm wondering if I'm missing something?

I attached my dxdiag.txt, a screenshot of my Screen Recorder settings and a sample screen recorded video.

Thanks for your interest and diagnosis or suggestions.
