Hello all
I'd like some advice.
I am using this device (see photo) to capture VHS tapes to PC/DVD. I've seen it playing so I know its connected.
But it wants to play through screen recorder and not PD 365.
It does come with its own software, but I prefer to use Power Director.

I purchased the full PD14 and I can only have 4 video tracks?

Hi all,
I am trying to create a grid like/video wall effect with about 12(ish) videos in PD14.
PD14 won't let me add any more than four and the add tracks feature does not work.
PIP only takes still images or objects so I can't upload clips there.
I hope someone can help.

I'm still using PD14
Recently its saying every clip I want to edit is broken. Even though I have been working from these sources previously.
I have attached the error message.
I've converted files from VOB to AVI and MP4 and still no joy. Can anyone help?

I am currently using PD14, but its starting to show some glitches.
I want to upgrade, but I don't understand the difference between PD18 and PD365?
Please can someone explain?

I have a question regarding PIP in PD14.
If the subject has shiny spots on their face (usually nose and forehead) the image comes out with patches that are see through.
How do I stop this? (see attachment)

Hello
I am trying to create a grid effect with various clips.
Power director tells me I can add up to 99 in PIP.
But I only have 2 video tracks in the editor (see photo).
How do I unlock the rest?

I am still having problems - The VOB files are shortening when I try to edit them in PD14.
I have tried to convert using various converter programs and the colour comes out in stripes and you can't see the picture.

Thanks for the reply.
Firstly I copied the VTS files from a disc into a folder on my laptop.
Then I go to Import Media files to locate the files and place into the media library.
The clip only plays for 20 seconds in media library or when dragged to timeline.
But played in an external player - VLC, Windows media, Power DVD etc the clip runs for its full duration.
(example a clip I tried to edit was approx a minute long. But PD 14 will only give me the first 20 seconds)
This isn't just one clip.
The DVD where the VTS files are is a RW. Would that make any difference?

Do you mean clips imported into the media library?
Or clips dragged down onto the timeline?
Can you give the specs on your clips? - try using mediainfo or another utility to find out if you don't know.
At the moment there isn't enough info to advise on what the issue/solution might be.

Please can somebody advise me. I have uploaded clips of various lengths, but PD 14 only shows 20 seconds of it before cutting off?
When I check then in VLC player/media player they are full length?
Tech support are useless.
