I have two video tracks. There are many "clips" on each track, and the clips are contiguous, just split for other editing reasons. One track from each of two different cameras, audio synced to a third high quality audio track recorded at the same time.

Here is what I am trying to do:

Be in control of which track is on the "top" layer of the movie being created. Sometimes I want T1 one the top layer, sometimes T2, depending on the size I want the video frame to be for each track. In other words, sometimes I want T1 to be the main image, with a smaller framed T2 in the corner, OVER the T1 "background" frame. Sometimes the opposite.

Is there any simple way to control the layer a track is on, such as the normal "bring to front," and "send to back?"

Thanks!
Some experrience, and a fast learner, but need to generate video faster than my learning curve allows. I would be happy to pay for live online help - you sit at home and I send link to join me in online session where you see my screen and you help me get results I am after.

Serious inquiry.

I am just starting to use chapters in PD 14. I have a movie with 4 chapters, but I selected the chapters out of order. In other words, I wanted chapters at points A, B, C, and D. I have created those chapters, but I selected them in an order that has this stiructure:

Point A = Chap 1 - always is by default.

Point b = chapter 4 - selected this location last

Point C = chap 2

Point D = chap 3

Tha chapter locations are correct, but the chapter NUMBERS aren't. I don't want to MOVE the chapters from their location in the video, just renumber the chapter numbers to reflect their actual order in the video.

In other words, I want to renumber chapter 4 to be chapter 2, chapter 2 to be chapter 3, and chapter 3 to be chapter 4, reflecting their actual location on the timeline. Help!!
Is there any way to create a template for a movie? Here is my need:

-I make several recordings a week of a class.

I would like the same custom title and same transitions, and same ending credits for all of the movies. I hope I don't have to create it all from scratch each time. Any suggestions? I am really new so I would appreciate as much detail as possible.

Thanks you very much!
OK so now I can record the 2 cam vid in the multi cam designer, but how do I get the transitions?

Thaey aren't in this module.

Thanks!
Wow! By following the link to your PDtoots vids I just figured it out I think!!!

Noe to try and add transitions.

Still would relly love to pay for some one-on-one if you're up for it!

Thanks again!
Also, I would be glad to pay for some screen sharing tutoring - pay through PayPal??
Yes sir! And thanks so much for the reply.

Just tried to inset or attach a screen shot but this forum gives me no way to browse to my image!!
I can get two tracks, sync them with audio sync - and then I'm stuck.

I have no idea how to make a "movie" out of the two tracks and the video tutorials don;t help. I am 65 but not totally brain dead yet.

HELP!!!
