We had the same problem. I couldn't fix it because you can't see where the problem is. The clips/audio are in the right places and it doesn't make any sense. It's like the audio was written over another clip and there's no way to remove it. I think it's just another bug with the software.
I've had the same problem, and Cyberlink has mostly blamed my computer for the problem. I worked on a project for weeks and the program shuts down with no error message every time I try and open it. Initially, Cyberlink gave me a patch, then advised to reinstall the program, then another patch, another build, etc. I can't count how many times I reinstalled the program. One response from them was that they sell the software worldwide and nobody else has had this problem so it must be my computer - ridiculous! My advice is to save a duplicate version before you produce your video. I am going to ask for a refund, and have a feeling it won't be easy.
We're having the same problem. The video clips are playing the wrong audio from other clips. This happened after I had to reinstall the software. It's in the editing portion of the program, we hadn't tried to produce it. There's no way that I can tell to fix it because you can't tell on the timeline how this is happening. I think something is wacky with the software. I asked for help from the techs but haven't heard anything yet. I'll let you know if they figure it out. Good luck.
While using the trial version, everytime I tried to open my project the program closed. Cyberlink advised me to install a patch: PDR5 _Patch_1227.exe. I was able to open the file, produce and burn the movie. I thought all was good and purchased the program but there have been continuous errors. After many hours, I did a lot of creative work on the project - a gift, and finally was ready to produce my video but the program was unresponsive. I tried to burn it, but the program shut down and everytime I try and open it the program shuts down. Cyberlink's response was this hasn't happened to anyone else, and the problem is my computer. They suggested I try and copy the pics from the library onto a disc (obviously the file wouldn't open so couldn't copy that way). I copied them through my hard drive which I think proves it is the program that's messed up. I produced another project with no problem. Cyberlink advised me to reinstall my operating system. My experience is the software if full of bugs and Cyberlink's advice isn't working. Anyone out there having this problem or can help? I'm stuck.
I've had to reinstall the software many times because of errors, bugs, crashes, etc. When I downloaded the PRD5 bonus again, and ran it the new transitions and titles aren't there. I restarted my computer, tried downloading and running again but no luck. I'm stuck. Anyone out there got any ideas?
