I have read pages of the archived notes on this problem and it seems that it is an ongoing problem with Power Director. Then I read that the cause might be a cheap JVC camera I am using. Is this possible and the sync problem is actually in the camera and not PD14? Is it time for a new camera?
Quote Ct know what I did can you supply a screenshot of your timeline with the six clips just before you go to produce it.

This time it worked finebut I still don't know what I did wrong. ?????????? Thanks for the help. JL

Quote When I produce a video of six clips it comes out in all six seperate clips instead of one video. What am I doing wrong?

How very strange!

Try this: put your 6 clips on the timeline, making sure they are adjoining each other. At the top, above the Media Room select PRODUCE

In PRODUCE select H264 and just beneath that select MP4. Under PROFILE NAME select your resolution and framerate. Then underneath the preview screen select the drive and folder to produce the movie to.

Click on start and wait until production has finished. When complete your all-in-one film can be found in the folder you selected under the preview screen.

If that doesn't work for you you had better come back and we can try again

Robert

Hi Robert. That is exactly what I did and have done the same before but now it comes out in clips. I'll try it again being very carful and see what happens. I'll let you know. JL

<Tools > Power Tools > Audio Speed>
Thanks. That worked. It does slow down the speed but since the audio is a clock ticking it didn't matter. Cheers, JL
Is there a way to lengthen an audio track on the time line?
Actually I didn't load the new copy yet. I wanted to make sure that I did't screw something up. PD13 support told me to download eveyrthing to a flash drive, load the new copy of PD13 and then upload everything to the new copy. Do you agree?
I have used PD13 since it came out and am thinking about moving up. Is it worth the cost to buy PD14 or should I stick with the older version? Thanks, JL
If I have two different copies of PD13 on the same computer do you mean that the files will automatically go to the new copy?
I have a bug in my original copy of PD13 so the company sent me a new copy to download. Is it possible to transfer the filesfrom the original copy to the new copy? Thanks, JL
Newbie here. After three hours of editing I packed up he project and selected a folder with a new name on the save as page and hit save. Now I can see the folder icon on the page but it will not open. What am I doing wrong? I just noticed that when you highlight different lines on the page, the box at the bottom changes from save to open. That must have something to do with the problem. Thanks.
I'm trying to save the whole package as a template. The video, the audio and the copy so I can use it as the opening for every new video. Is that possible?
Several tutorials say that you can make a custom tag for custom templates in the title room and save it by cllicking on the icon at the top and then save and then OK but I can't find the save or OK buttons on the page. Is Thanks.
