Carl123, I'm not sure if that's it or not. Here is a quick shot of the effect I'm seeing - http://jmp.sh/5m2ONNe.

On the left is the "flickering veil," (the guy's vest is also flickering) and on the right is the pixelated lettering.

I know these aren't the best shots, but I hope they show what I mean.

Is there anything I can try to fix this?
I have a similar issue, but I am not using Hardware Acceleration.

The video on the DVD has two problems that aren't seen on the source movie files. (1) the title on one of the clips see pixelated. I've tried another font, but pixelation is still a problem. (2) in some shots, a veil (this is a wedding video) seems to flicker over the image.
