I was searching for the answer to the same exact thing initially asked! However, it isn't actually answered within this thread. There is in fact a difference between the deletion and insertion of clips. Simply restating what it does isn't what we are looking for. When copying & then pasting a clip, screen shot etc. the options of Ctrl, Shift, Alt + DROP comes up. Yet what is not known is what keyboard button is actually the DROP button. Not what does it do, but which one, which button in addition to the SHIFT key, CTRL key or ALT key is used to perform the desired action.
