Thank you for your answer!
Yes, I have read about that in the forum. However, I also tried to open a project and only import one clip. The lag ocurred aswell.
Here are the properties of a clip (see attachment):
Type: H.264 AVC
Bitrate: 23.16 Mbps
Resolution: 1920x1080
Frame Rate: 25 fps
Profile: High Profile
Frame Type: Progressive

Hi there. The support team couldn't really help me with this so I'm asking you guys. I have a problem with PD 13. After successfully editing many videos, it suddenly became extremely slow and laggy. I can import all my clips into the project and put them into the timeline. But as soon as I start the preview, it is extremely slow and laggy and at some point the image freezes and the time marker jumps ahead some 15 seconds (see attached video) while the audio is still playing in normal speed. It is impossible to edit my videos like this. The weird thing is that this problem appeared suddenly, I didn't change anything and I'm using the same camera etc.
Here's what I have already tried:
- Set the preview quality to the lowest setting
- Reinstall the program
- Update all my drivers
- Update PD13 to the newest version
- Update my Computer to Windows 10
But nothing changed. I have also tried to use another (free) video editing software and there was no problem with the clips I am using. Furthermore I tried clips from another camera with PD13 and the same problem occured.
It is really annoying. Really hope someone can help...
Thanks in advance!

Yes, I've deleted all temp files...
Well, I am using shadow files, but how do I delete them?

Hi there.
My PD 13 is suddenly very laggy, even tough I use clips from the same camera, haven't changed the settings or anything! The main problem is that the video preview is extremely slow and laggy, even after I set it to the lowest quality! I tried reboot the program and the computer but nothing seems to work! Getting kinda desperate here
