perhapse something called Profile name/quality does something...
I usually record my videos with fraps, 60fps full-size and they come out 1080p 60fps but when i put them into PD12, they show up at 480p even though my laptop can run 4k videos like this with my 965M and about 10 minutes of loading due to horrible internet. changing the preview quality/display options button didnt change anything either.
Thx, as for the codec, i actually got the software from my friend... And although i visit his house pretty often, idk if i should get the box and try to prove it.
I dont really care about quality above 720 but i really dont like the look under 720, so is there another format that has up to 720p?
I wanted to know if it was possible and how to do text effects like the ones in this video. (Also, my mpeg4 video format says the codec is invalid or expired)
whenever i search about what i need, it gives me something completely useless or gives me another PD version
NVM, im just giving up on video editing entirely
To start, i can really only get PD9 because i am shit broke and my friend just so happened to have it.

Now, i have quite a few questions so ill just list them in number order

  1. How do i make moving text?

  2. How can i make PiP easier to use?

  3. Why does PD9 crash with videos longer then a minute?

  4. Why does PD9 crash after 10+ minutes of editing?

  5. How come when i just experienced #4 and try to load my stuff back, i can now only edit for about a minute then it crashes?

I was putting text into a video i was making and at about 5 minutes or so, i was editing text when 3 powerdirector windows froze and i had to close them, i reopened the project and some stuff was gone, so i resumed thinking little of what just happened when it happened again right around the same point. I dont know if the video is too big or im putting in too much text or what. :/
ah, okay. Well, im gonna go make a new topic because i seem to be having a video size problem now...
So, i borrowed and installed PowerDirector 9 from my friend and used it a bit. Made 2 videos and im trying to work on a third, but ive encountered some problems with the editor, such as a lot of buttons like power tools, trim, mute clip, freeze frame, etc. are grey, and i also want to make text that can move around the screen and shake vigorousy, but i dont know how to do that. I could use some help seeing that ive only used this a couple of times...
