millions of PD9 problems...

To start, i can really only get PD9 because i am shit broke and my friend just so happened to have it.

Now, i have quite a few questions so ill just list them in number order

How do i make moving text?

How can i make PiP easier to use?

Why does PD9 crash with videos longer then a minute?

Why does PD9 crash after 10+ minutes of editing?

How come when i just experienced #4 and try to load my stuff back, i can now only edit for about a minute then it crashes?

Sorry to hear that. It looks like your PC might be in need of some updates or cleaning if you're having so many crashes. People here can help if you change your mind.

Also, there are lots of tutorials here and on YouTube about how to use all the features of PD. They can help answer most of the questions you have about how to do various things.

PD9 is 5 years old now, but all the basic things that are in your version are in the newer versions, too. If you look at the tutorials videos for keyframes, which is one of the main ways to move text or other objects, the method is the same no matter which version was used in the turorial.

That's not going to help much if you can't keep PD open long enough to use it, and more than half of the problems I've seen on the forum are with peoples' computers, not with PD.

If you want me to try to help, please follow the steps listed *here* and post the details for Parts A and B and I'll have a pretty good idea of what's going on.

Hi, BluePhoenixV!

Optodata has, I believe, hit the nail on the head! Before you can really do anything about straightening out your PD9, you might first need some servicing of your computer. Consult your computer supplier who may be able to help in that matter(you might need an upgrade). Once your computer problems are solved, you may be able to re-install PD9 and have it working as it should.
