the key bit is:

"360 Video: Equirectangular format MP4 (H.264). Supports up to 4K resolution in 2:1 aspect ratio."

I'm not sure of the policy on upgrades to newer file formats in between versions, but perhaps it will be available in a later full patch version of PDR16, although I think it more likely that such upgrades will wait until PDR17 is released.

Thanks for the reply this would a good idea for patch or new PDR17....do you have an idea when that would be available(PDR17)..i believe the file Gopro fusion after stitching is cineForm 422 high' MOV. CODEK 5.2k, or prores 422 also in. MOV 5.2k

Hi to all this is my First Post here and I just finnished my Honeymoon video on PD16.I have use powerdirector before with a underpowered laptop before and well it was succesful it was a little fustrating. This time around i was able to edit more faster and actually looked foward to doing so with my new workstation even in 4K resolution. Either way thanks to this forum i was able to learn tricks and tips on making my video and getting the right euipment.
