Can I use PD to convert?

I have two .VOB clips from a professionaly made DVD. The end of the first clip seamlessly plays into the first of the second on the origingal DVD. When I import them into PD, I get a hickup at the transition. On the timeline there is no gap. Recommendations?

Turns out only one file does this. Probably corrupted file.

I just reloaded PD10 and ran the updates. When importing a .VOB file, PD crases with no error messages.
