Do I need to remove all transitions from color boards. In the file I am trying to burn I do not have any transitions from color boards in the beginning. I removed the one at the end and will try to burn it. Is this a problem in all the power directors because I will need to add transitions from color boards to clips in later projects??
The audio files are WMA. I will try and convert them to an MP3. If I download a different version of PD will I lose the videos I have already created??
Ok I believe the version is Power Director 8.00.1930
You all are great. Thanks

All though I am starting to beleive I am the problem when I try to get the version information from "about" or from the prower director on the right hand side the program freezes and I have to ctrl>alt>delet. I am at a loss of what to do????
I apologize for my lack of computer knowledge. I am unable to locate the information you requested. Where would I find the version information.

Problem #3 my last problem has been solved to a degree if I wait at least ten minutes PD will load the create a DVD program. So I am able to make a menu, but this leads me to problem #3

When I attempt to burn a DVD an error message occures. The error is
MotionMenuGenerator.exe
Application Error
The exception Integer division by zero (0xc0000094) occurred in the application at location 0xlc40a49af

I have tried several different things from a pre-created menu to making my own menu they all have the same error messge.

I apologize for my lack of computer knowlede
I apologize I really do not know much about PD so I am not sure where to gather this information.

I am using PD 8 version 1.0

My computer specs: Dell Precision M6400 Intel core 2 duo 2.34 GHz 4096MB RAM and a Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M video card. I have windows XP

I created the video and now I am trying to burn it when I click on the create disc, the load bar pops up and says intializing project data it loads 71% each time and then freeze my computer. I then have to ctrl>alt>del and shut down the whole program.

Could it be an install error or a problem with the program itself?

Thank you for your help

Well it looks like I have another problem on my hands. When I press the create a DVD it begins to load it and open up, but every time it gets to 71% it freezes and I have to shut the program down. I have tried it about seven time and the same thing happens. I am not running any other programs so I am unsure as to why this is happening unless its a bug in PD 8.
Thank you I had a feeling that it was running that way because of the format, but wasnt sure if it was just a bug with PD 8. I will test a small section on a dvd player and see what happens.
1) I am using Power Direct 8

2)The computer is a Dell Precision M6400 Intel core 2 duo 2.34 GHz 4096MB RAM and a Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M video card.

3) The player is widows media player, but I am not playing the video in that I am still editing it and playing it in PD

4) The video file type is an AVCHD 1080i format (is this what you wanted to know)

I hope this information helps
I am trying to create a training DVD. Every time I play the video back in the full screen mode it is very shaky. The original video is not shaky and does not appear to be shaky when played inside power director on the small screen. I have enabled the stability feature and it still is shaky when played back in full screen. Will this issue occur when I burn it and play it on a TV? Is there a way to stabilize it more??
I appreciate any help I can get
