Guys I wanted to create a 1 page menu for my dvd, which will include the name of my dvd and 5 chapter names , is this possible or do I need to have a Root menu and a Title and chapter menu. I can't seem to figure this out, I click on create disc and the first tab is Content, than the next tab is Menu preferences, click that one and than click create Menu, now is there a way to change the word "my videos" this is as far as I can get, very confusing to me.

LOL thats cool but this isn't what I'm looking for. I guess I will have to research and see just what its called that I have in mind.

Hi Ynotfish I know what you mean maybe that's what I'll do. Maybe I'm asking for the wrong thing here, I thought it was called a title template, I was wanting to create a little video template to put on the very beginning of my dvd, just like 5 - 10 seconds, than follow with my intro. In the little video there would be pic's or video of scenes in my dvd and wording, along with music, which I can take care of. I can create it myself using the program and use overlay, but just wanted to save time and see if I can find a pre made one.
James1 I like that pic by the way thanks!!

Hi why would you disable Harwdare Decoder, isn't that suppose to speed things up? Also when you say SVRT your talking about Intelligent SVRT correct?
Hi GGRussell
What your meaning by SVRT is the option, '' Intelligent SVRT''? What I was talking about earlier was the SVRT tab, down in the bottom, under the info of the format that you pick to use. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your patience there GGRussell, but there are 4 , 1920x1080 would it be 16-24-or 28 Mbps, and would it be 60i or 60p or 24p?
Thanks GGRussell but I still have to select a certain file format. For example what do I choose for this to make the output the same as the original
Type H.264 AVC
Bit Rate 15.90 Mbps
Frame rate 29,97 FPS
Profile High
Frame type ,Interlaced
Audio
Type Dolby Digitial
Sampling rate 48KHz
Bitrate 384 Kbps
Channel 5.1

Jimbo223 the Intel Quick Sync Video is on my Laptop, I don't need that to be any faster, lol.
Error.
Man I wish we were all as smart as you Carl312! ...........................I was hoping there was a set template in the settings somewhere that you can choose called............(same as original file )without having to look at the file info I'm using and match it to the original.
Hi I like to know what file format would be best to use when simple cutting a few frames out and I want to save the outcome file to the same file format as the original video file?
Hi you can't choose both at the same time so what is the best Hardware video encoder or SVRT?
Hi Playsound, thats great speed , did you select ,''Intelligent SVRT" to get the best output video possible and also SVRT at the bottom or did you select the other option beside SVRT ? What do you mean by "on render"
Hi Jimbo I'm confused here ,why would I want to disable my, Intel Quick Sync Video?
Hi Ok no problem, and yes I understand that no 2 computers do the same I was just shocked to why my little laptop was so much better than my rebuilt, with all the good parts , just something I noticed between the 2 computer is on my rebuilt computer , under 'produce' in the program, a tab I can check is called ''Hardware video encoder''and on my laptop its called, 'Intel Quick Sync Video'. When both of these are unchecked than my new computer is much faster. By the way that's quite a list of info you want me to attach and do I attach this every time I make a post?!
I done a little test using Power Director to see if my new computer I just rebuilt for video editing would impress me ,so I tried rendering the same video clip on my laptop computer, its a Toshiba Satellite L850 and it completes the process faster than my new computer, "37 seconds compared to 19 seconds "somewhat disappointed. The spec on my new computer I think is very impressive,(see attached pic) What could be the reason? Thanks
