Quote: Hi Jasm

best thin u can do is move to Vegas movie maker platinum has some problems YES but it works and you CAN edit video. Aa far as PD10 goes it is ONLY PD9 with more bugs and 3d,
which a lot of people dont't even use.
PD9 now called PD10 with more bugs than usual.

Hi Tomthumb
yea Vegas cant do it either. PD10 is the closest thing out there so far for 3d-bd. I beleive it could, and does work, but I'm just not paying out for more software till I check it out myself.
Been stung too many times.
Kilmarnock huh! I lived there many moons ago...
Well as a video editing enthusiast I have come to the conclusion Power Director is just another in the long list of wanna be video editing programs. I have only 4 days left of my trial copy and still have had no success in creating what is advertised, to create a 3d-bd disk. I have asked for help in this forum as well as Cyberlink support and I still cant create even a small video.
Normally I wouldn't even respond to trying out another failing program, but I really enjoyed using this program up to the point of actually creating a video, pity.
If I cant create what I need with a trial copy, and check out the quality, then I'm certainly not going to endorse or buy the program. If the program worked, even if it had only a 30 second time limit or a Cyberlink stamp on the finished product, I would be happy with that.

I will check back again from time to time and see if there is a new trial release that works, unless someone comes out with something better, sooner.

I'm not sure what will happen when my trial period runs out so this may be 'adios'
Well thanks Dafydd
I appreciate your reply.
I really hope they rectify this. If I could burn even a 3 minute clip and check the quality I would buy this program, as I really like using it. I already have Vegas and Pinnacle studio which handles my other needs but I really need a good 3d editing program like Power Director.
I can burn good quality mvc with sony's bmp, but the finished 3d-bd only works in sony players.
I tried burning a 3d side by side with PD at full quality on a 25gb bl-ray and I was'nt happy with the quality. So I really need to see PD's 3d-bd finished product before I buy it.
Only my trial runs out in a few days
thanks again
Quote: CC2,
If you are able to articulate clearly the issues you have using an annotated pictorial representation, with a descriptive terminology and a structural presentations of factual information to a legible degree, then members might take pity. I would not want to see members rolling around chortling with mirth at your predicament or at any acrimonious dissertation you present here and elsewhere.

whew! say that after a pint...
thanks Wolfgang
I wrote Cyberlink support on Thursday, so they are looking into it.
but, I think I have came to the same conclusion
Quote: I'm still looking for the generic or universal 3D anaglyph glasses, which I am going to visit a few retailers for today to see if I can get a pair.

Try a video rental store. Blockbuster used to sell them $1 for 2 pair
Thanks Wolfgang
Looks like there must be a problem with the software in the Trial Version.
Guess I'll wait for the next build update
PowerDirector Trial v10 64-bit
ver 10.0.0.1005
hi Fred
okay I tried a clean install windows7 on a 500gb harddrive and got the same results,
Maybe it is something to do with it being the Trial version.
Is anyone using the Trial version able to make a BD-3D disk or file.
I have still had no success. Anyone any new Ideas?
I'm not about to purchase the full version unless I get this worked out. (dat wud bee crazee)
I've not the greatest computer in the world, but is well above the average.
I can render in real time with vegas 10. I should be able to run this program, without all this hassle.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me figure this out...
I'm using CyberLink PowerDirector 10 Trial.
Purchase pending on getting this worked out...
ok heres a smaller one.
I gotta go to bed, check back tomorrow
ok here is a 6 second clip
moving the file did'nt help
I attached the media info of the file
it was taken with the sony HDR-TD10. 3D Hd MVC (original format.)
I started with 4. I reduced it to 1 to try work out the problem.
I'll try moving the source file to the c drive.
thanks
hmm thats something PD should work on.
I let Windows define the pagefile size
Any Idea what the minimum space would be?
I could send a capture of my project but its just one clip, with no extras (transitions menus etc)
I use a Solid State drive (the reason for the lower Capacity). 32gb free I have 16gb swap file over that.
I have put a swap file on my D:drive as well 560gb free.
I'm only burning a 124mb file.
My LG blueray burner is set at 2.0 speed write.
If I burn as 'Create a Folder' instead of writing to a disc, it still fails.
I have attached a screen shot
Thanks for your help
my DXDIAG
Oh and I'm using CyberLink PowerDirector 10 Trial.
Purchase pending on getting this worked out...
When I go to Create a blu-Ray 3d disk (BD3d) and click on Burn in 3D, The Burning screen pops up and after about 20 seconds an error screen pops up with the error code eC0030011.
This is just a small test video with no menus or anything, just four short clips. 5 minutes in total.
I'm using i7 -2600 4 core cpu 3.4ghz
16 gb ram
GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card
SSD hard drive.
DirectX 11
Windows 7 64-bit
Anyone know whatsup?
