NAH! Forgot to mention those (3) SSD Drives are just for W7 Boot. I have a 1TB for Program Files with plenty of room to spare and another 1TB for File Storage. I use the Program File HDD for Producing and rendering.
Not sure where to get the dxdiag file from. For now I will try and redo the 88 files into one . Maybe something happened to it.
I am trying to do videos using different resolution (from different cameras). Basically I am trying to fit as many of my home videos into one disc. With Bluray I fit fit alot. Even when I try and render the file alone to a folder it crashes. It must be the file.
I like Ulead DVD MF 7 because it gives you many options. So I would like to continue using it. It must be the file---I hope!
Thanks.
I understand what you are saying. The original file is 1280x720 and even when I choose that resolution for the output it does the same.
I am comparing this to ULEAD DVD Movie Factory 7 which does not do this and when I choose h.264 it reduces the overall space on the disc significantly.
The only reason I am trying Cyberlink is that on one file that is 7.5gb it took 26 hrs to render and it still had 2% to go using ULEAD.
My Issue in this case may be the file. I took 88 small clips and combined them into one file. I am going to try and redo it and see if that helps. But ULEAD DVD MF 7 did not behave as did Power Director.
Mind you I have a Core i7 with 12gb RAM and (3) 30gb SSD drives in raid0 and it still took 26hrs. Does not make sense.
Yes I chose h.264, HD 1280x720/60p and it shows 7797mb and my file is actually 4.64gb. It does it m=with any file I choose. I have tried .mov, .mpg and same problem.
When I try to Create Disc, Power Director does not seem to compress when I select h.264.
In fact it increases the size of the file. For instance if I have a file that is 8gb and I select h.264 compression, PD in the Disc status on the lower left corner it shows it at 13bg.
Has anyone noticed this? I have all the patches installed.
