Thank you for your reply, however, I am running Windows 7! Where can I check about the hardware as I thought Windows 7 would have been adequate?

Hi
I too am new to Cyberlink and PowerDirector in particular. I have installed the trial version also and have imported a couple of .mts files to test the HD output quality and when I try and produce an H.264 file, it won't allow it as it is prompting me for hardware video encoder to be set however, it is greyed out! I have an Apple iMac with a windows 7 partition. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
