hmm also ich hab das problem bei mir auf eine sehr ungewöhnliche weise gelöst..
ich habe hier in irgendeinem thread gelesen dass powerdvd manchmal probleme mit einem programm names ffdshow und nachdem man dieses deinstalliert soll es angeblich gehen. tja hatte kein ffdshow habs einfach mal installiert und getestet siehe da alles geht
*ffdshow = converter programm
offensichtlich fehlte ein codec oder wurde nicht richtig erkannt auf jedenfall gings dann

i read that some had a similar problem solved by uninstalling a programm called ffdshow so today i got the idea of installing ffdshow (and deinstalling it right away) but somehow with ffdshow it work Oo i'm not quite sure what now exactly solved the problem but i expect that powerdvd7 did not find the codecs
however it works ![]()

hmm i don't think so and specially why should everything else work oO? i did not find anything about this somewhere else too so is there a way to ask cyberlink whats wrong?

hallo
ich habe diese woche mal die trial von powerdvd7 ausprobiert. der eigentliche anlass war dass ich die dts 5.1 tonspur auf einer dvd testen wollte aber in powerdvd6 funktionierte diese nicht. ich muss sagen version7 ist wirklich super ein hd-trailer von unreal tournament 2007 läuft wirklich hervorragend, diese dts 5.1 spur ebenfalls, das ganze programm an sich sieht (jetzt mit einen skin von deviantart.com) gut aus
ABER
was nicht funktioniert und mich wirklich ärgert ist dass es weder divx noch xvid codierte dateien spielt, was powerdvd6 ohne jedes problem tat bzw tut wenn ich es wieder installiere. wenn ich eine xvid datei in den player schiebe steigt die cpu auslastung auf ca. 20% und bleibt da konstant, in dem feld wo der dateipfad angezeigt wird läufter dieser sehr ruckelig und langsam durch, ansonsten passiert gar nichts ausser das powerdvd sich in keiner weise steuern lässt.....
gibt es eine möglichkeit dieses problem zu beheben, denn eigentlich finde ich das programm ja wirklich gut nur wenn das nicht funktioniert wäre das echt nicht gut...

i just tried the powerdvd7 trial today and mostly i would say nice programm, worth buying...
it plays perfectly the ut2007-HD trailer and the dts 5.1 audio stream of a dvd (which was the reason why i tried it at all because it wasnt working in powerdvd6) BUT IT DOES NOT PLAY ANY FILE WHICH USES XVID OR DIVX it is really anoying powerdvd6 played them without any problem so does vlc and so on.
i already tried reinstalling xvid but nothing changed, is there a way to get this working?
