I have to agree with whats being said here, PowerDVD is great with some tweaking (disabling of services) even on atom powered devices.

With the latest 12 version whenever the dnla server isnt running it spits out an exception. Not everyone wants mobile syncronisation or their media player to be a dnla server.

All thats needed is a checkbox during the install to give people who dont need or want these features an option to disable these services and remove these tabs from powerdvd.
Ive attached the file to this post, The subtitle (timed text) is embedded inside the container as per mp4 standard.

This isn't an issue with a single file and im sure my files are iso complient
First of all PowerDVD 12's UI is brilliant far better than the multi color tabs of version 11. With that said id just like to bring a few things to your attention that are keeping me from using 12 as my default media player.

1 The video browser no longer displays the poster of tagged files respecting their aspect ratio instead the default 16:9 is used resulting in this.

2 When i read "Play all Types of Media One software to play all your media content in the best quality with TrueTheater" i was hoping that mp4 support had improved since 11

But when opening the same file in powerdvd the subtitle menu is blacked out so apparently theres no timed text support.

Its a great player overall but the issues above are deal beakers for me, If you have time please fix them
