Well now it is clear Abslayer!
I agree with you about the features of PD10 that, being a consumer product, it acts as a semiprofessional SW.
I am use to work with Studio Pinnacle, which has not been able to increase its feaures. It is more expensive then PD10 and it cannot compare with it. Nevertheless with Studio you can create your menus as you want, creating your own button, menu into another menu acc...
I have to say that I like menus in PD10, really I do, but it is a pity such a limitation. Perhaps there is a way that we don't know to get it. Who knows, other users may say their opinion.
Regards
Franco
Thanks to Jerrys as well!
Unfortunately, after creating the trasparent image with extension "png" and having laid it on the thumbinails, apparently everythind works good, but in the attempt of running the DVD preview, after selecting "scenes" on the 1st page of the menu, the program crashes. I do not why, I used a different menu and the program runs! Reboted the PC, reloaded the menu with trasparent image and PD10 crashed again
Anyone experienced anything similar? Do you encourage me to send the pop up issue reporter to Cyberlink?
abslayerYOU CAN'T BEAT NERO SOFTWARE

Forgive me abslayer, but I didn't get the ut. What the link between PD10 and NERO (8 or 10)?

Thanks for writing

Franco
Ciao Tony,
thanks for your advise. I downloaded and analyzed it. It seems that Jeff was able either to cancel or hice the thumbinails. I tried with a blank menu and only I could put the thumbinails at minimum size out of the secure border of the screen. It seemed to work, even if my monitor is 16/9 and the thumbinails were visible anyway, maybe because being the project made with clips for 4/3 TV.
Does it sound good to you?

Again grazie 1000

Take care
Franco
Hallo lads,
Here I am again with another topic. I am getting a bit confident with my new PD10, also personalizing my menus with chapters, titles, intro, photos and so ahead. What is not completely clear is whether is possible to create titles with no moving miniatures; I'd sometimes like just pictures or the text only as button for my titles.
Additionally I would like to have a menu made by one page only, no "scenes" button, no "play" button; only the titles to click, but as far as I coud see it is not possible. Is there any action to get it?

Thanks 1000 for your help

Franco
Wnuk, Playvideo, done!
I should have thougth to the first option, and I could have not guessed the second!
Thanks for your help!!

... and yet I reached a notable ability in using Pinnacle Studio...!!
Well, now sleeves up and work hard...
Many thanks guys,
now I am work. As soon as I go home I will try it. Being at first steps with this new program hope to succeed!

Ciao
See you
Hi everyone,
let me introduce myself, name Franco from Italy.
I hope I entered the right forum.
I am enjoying my new PD10, coming from Pinnacle, and I attempted to perform a PiP with two and (eventually!!) three video tracks. Unfortunately, among a variety of interesting tools, I could not find the option to get trasparency on both (or three) tracks in order to let them all visible on video either at 100% of size or reduced as desired.
As far as I have experienced, PD10 lets show multi-tracks on video , but only after creating overlapping masks or performing chroma key.
Do I make any mistake in doing that, do I skip any step about; is it possible to get what I need?
Many thanks for reading and for the help/support you can offer.

Franco

P.S. Is it maybe possible to have a forum section in selected language or by Country? If so, users could not only exchange opinions by the forum, but also to have the chance meet each other personally.
