Trasparency in PiP
[Post New]
Hi everyone,
let me introduce myself, name Franco from Italy.
I hope I entered the right forum.
I am enjoying my new PD10, coming from Pinnacle, and I attempted to perform a PiP with two and (eventually!!) three video tracks. Unfortunately, among a variety of interesting tools, I could not find the option to get trasparency on both (or three) tracks in order to let them all visible on video either at 100% of size or reduced as desired.
As far as I have experienced, PD10 lets show multi-tracks on video , but only after creating overlapping masks or performing chroma key.
Do I make any mistake in doing that, do I skip any step about; is it possible to get what I need?
Many thanks for reading and for the help/support you can offer.

Franco

P.S. Is it maybe possible to have a forum section in selected language or by Country? If so, users could not only exchange opinions by the forum, but also to have the chance meet each other personally. Franco

Welcome Franco.

Select the clip you wish to change opacity on and click "modify" to go to PIP designer. Select the middle icon (lightbulb with wavy arrow) then change the opacity to your desire. Repeat with next clip and so on. See attached picture.

Hope this helps.

Another way to adjust opacity, the track or in part, see the image
