Quote: does it look like metro? i have win8 & others. i wouldn't describe it as metro personally.

The flat black and white simplistic icons, with large circles that look like they were designed for pointing, to me it looks like they were aiming for the Metro style. But despite the style they were going for, my point is that I just don't like the look of it.

Quote: You'll get used to the look and feel. Trust me.

I'm pretty set and biased when it comes to the look and feel of graphical user interfaces. I'm not going to buy any software and hope I get used to it, when I can just buy a competing alternative (and I already did) that looks and functions how I want from the go.

So I already made my decision, this thread was just to make the developers know why they lost me as a customer. As there was no uninstall opinion poll like some other applications have (something that Cyberlink should start including, so they know why people are uninstalling their software).
I just want to voice my dissatisfaction with the new Metro style GUI, I dislike it so much it is a complete deal breaker for me. The new GUI and background pictures look ugly, unprofessional and out of place especially in a desktop environment, particularly on a computer running anything but Windows 8.
Is there any way/option to always decline BD-Live Internet Connection?. If the certification is invalid, I have to manually select "NO" everytime.
