Thanks
That is just unbeliveable.

it is like an ipod saying it won't play any music from 2012 plus......I can't belive it.....they are being so selfish and lazy.

I'll be sure never to recommend anything by cyberlink to anyone
They are 'investigating' why don't they just fix it lol
What a load of crap.

'we know there is a problem..........HA HA' is basicly waht they are saying
Great! Keep me posted, I've been watching my star wars at a friends house now.

Right pain in the arse.
Mr Nagpig12, if you get the details and file a complaint to trading standards, let me know what to do as I will also do it to. As they are basicly selling an unfir product. You wouldn't buy a fridge to keep half your food cold
I've given up completely. Even though I earn a shitty £2.50 an hour (apperntership pay) I couldn't wait, so I went out and brought a PS3

Just to watch star wars

Plus..a PS3 is like a blu ray player with games

I shall no longer be using cyberlink, they haven't replyed to any of my E-mails since

What crap customer service
That is very good,

I hope something gets done, PLEASE keep us informed Mr nagpig12

Great job!
I'm giving up on power dvd now, I've used it for years, had some problems with HD DVD which they said they would sort, but never did (back when people still had HD DVD) and now this

I'm going out tommrow to buy a ps3........I'm going to play my blu rays on that, I'm fed up with cyberlink now
I jsut had a reply from a long message I sent explaing the problem and that other people are having the same issues and they should do a patch

my reply was just a cut and paste of the message he sent me last time

I am not happy
I know how you feel, it is really lapse on thier part.

I'm thinking of just going all out and buying a PS3 with all the blu ray crap you can get on it.......

It will proably quicker and more hassle free then these.

they arn't replying to my support questions now

really miffing me off
Yeah, if they don't give us a patch, they'll have to give us a newer program, or it is just bad on thier part, like I said, 'here is a blu ray player, which won't play them all'

in reply to the AnyDVD thing, that is all well and good, but why should I pay for another progam just to make my orgainl program do what it is built to do. I know there is a 21 trail period, but after the 21 days what then

it is just silly,

They need to make a patch, or give us a newer program, and hurry up, I want to watch my FILMS!
I totaly agree, you pay all the money out for a blu ray player, that is ment to play blu rays, then they go........."oh yeah, by the way, you'll have to buy another one to play that blu ray" it is just wrong. And also sound be agasit the Trade Descriptions Act of 1968 (If you live in the UK)
That is what was said to me also, from the same guy
So how am I to watch some of my blu rays?
What about power dvd 7 ultra?
I have installed the trail version, and it works to a point, I get the normal blackscreen with white writting giving me some warning, then a image of R2-D2 and then it says 'prohibited' in the top right corner

any ideas?
Is this Anydvd-hd free? or do I have to fork out more money for it?
well, the thing is, We own a blu ray player, it doesn't play blurays, surely there is something under the trades descriptions act that would cover us......that is if you are from the UK haha
I updated the frimware of my bluray drive, but it did nothing
