i have purchased a boxed copy of pd10 but there are some installation problems, most likely it is disc issue as it is not completely flat and i am having problems with running the disc
does anyone know if i dowload the pd10 from the cyberlink website and use the key provided with the boxed version is that going to work?

hi
i have been using pd9 for a long time, recently i bought a boxed version of pd10,
during installation i am getting a message: error 1305. error reading from file C:\ProgramFiles\Cyberlink\PowerDirector10\runtime\recoridngPack\CLRec4.dll. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
Anyone has any idea what does it mean and how to solve it?

i have a question
i have been using pd9 for quite a long time now
recently i reinstalled windows and i lost my installation files
i would like to install pd9 again on my pc
the original files been downloaded about 2 years ago
the link is not valid any longer
still have the activation code
does anyone know where i can download the files from?

i have experienced the same problem twice
the only answer i got fro technical support and from the forum was - update your drivers and update youg graphic card from 1 gb hd to at least 2 gb hd - but that was not good enough, i decided to save my projects somewhere like for instance - desktop and reinstall the software but with no patches and updated and since then it works perfectly,and i do not bother with any updates, patches and all this bull...t.

i just gave up and trying to use the software without all this patches, updated and it does the job for me

have experienced simular problem and the forum could not help as the technical support
here is the solution that worked for me:
in the produce mode chose any desired output eg. mpeg4, mpeg2,h264 but it cannot be defoult format, panasonic cam sometimes do not record in progressive modebut the frames are registerd as a main field first , so you have to have to tick the custom mode and try several options, clic on the pen icon below and a bozx will open with several options for your video and audio, go for progressive and main profile, burn it, try to watch it, if not ok try other options that will work for you, the solution to your problem is there

i have experienced similar problems and after while i found a solution
in the produce mode ignore defoult version and try to create a custom productions - in video optons set the video profile as high profile and frame type as progressive. that should sort your problem

few month ago i installed the patches and the software begun to be hardly usable, i reinstalled the software and it was perfectly fine, done a lot of editing but when it came up to producing/rendering it was ok until the final output onto blueray disc-after rendering the production was very shaky,changed some settings ,quality has improved but still not satisfactory,checked footage taken in 1920/1080-the same problem.decided to install recommended patches and after doing so the system becomes unoperable, fails to render anything, even short samples to any output -dvi,mpg4,avchd,fails on any stage, rendering action stops somewhere between 0 and 2 %, of any lenght project, burning to disc action fails even previously rendered project to any disc preference-1440/1080 or 1920/1080
do not get any error messages
files included in project -video- 1440/1080 and mp3, no transitions,no effects - system fails
files included in another project - 1920/1080, oryginal files taken from camcorder with no editing - system fails
would anybody be able to let me know if it is possible to reinstall the software without losing any project saved?
is there anything i could try to do to produce/render files and get satisfactory result?

hi, i need some advice on producing hd video, the problem i have is - after rendering a project and burning it to the disc the playback is very shaky-unwatchable, the original footage is in hd - 1440/1080 - 24frame rate-production setup-found an option that produces less shaky image-output-1440/1080,frame rate 24,frame type-progressive,profile type-main profile-this profile after burnig is much better however it is still not satisfactory, the project is almost 2hours inlenght, no effects, no transitions,mp3 files added, all drivers are up to date, i am running 64bit windows 7ops,recently i installed all patchers for powerdirector 9 from cyberlink website and once more i came accros some probles after installing the patches-powerdirector fails to launch very often, rendering crashes and burning stops in the middle of action,i had this problem few months ago and reistalled the software-was working ok until installing patches.
