Yes but it's up to Cyberlink to upload patches. I've seen this before and that's what happened, a patch was offered and wa-la, issue fixed. I'm also curious to know what patch was uploaded for PowerDVD 11 (it was offered 9/1/11 IIRC).
Just wonderful...
I see PowerDVD 11 recently received a patch. Are we going to see any for 10 (and lower)? I'm finding mine will not play certain Fox titles (as discussed in the X-Men First Class thread) and the last patch was in May.
Yes, it's definitely Cyberlink software. They were just giving canned answers.
Ditto with PowerDVD 10

I got a message to go to www.cyberlink.com/bdupdate and when I went there and installed this ActiveX program, nothing happens...
That did the trick. Thanks!
So I got a new Blu-ray the other day but I get the old "You must update PowerDVD now to continue the playback of this content." I click yes to update and after a few moments it says: "Player application update. Update complete." but it still does not work. I'm using PowerDVD 10 Deluxe Mark II and have not come across this message before (well, maybe one other time I did but once I updated it, the disc played).

Any idea what I can do? This disc does not officially get released until July 5 (I got an early copy to review). As far as I know, it's just this disc as the others do play.

I am downloading one of the updates, "Cyberlink.2905(Patch)(Deluxe)_DVD110429-06.exe" though not sure if that will help or not.
