where can the patch for version 11 be found for this problem?
Sorry, no idea. Put in a request to customer support?

Having the same problem as everyone here. I have uploaded over 200 videos and now poof Cyberlink does not recognize my accounts. This is more than frustrating. I hope that Cyberlink will figure this out and not charge us more money and cause us to upgrade.
A patch has been released & it works...

Any sign of a patch for users of PD12?

And the patch for PD12?

Just purchased Power Director 13 Ultimate, same problem as to unable to upload to You Tube
Cyberlink know about the problem and yet they are STILL selling faulty software!

I have exactly the same problem. I applied this 'fix' and now have a different problem. Did nobody test this 'fix' before releasing it?

Hi,
for PDiR 12 users please use below steps to Workaround the issue:
For the users who have to upload video to YouTube via PowerDirector12 now, please suggest the users to implement the solution
1. Download the file "OnlineMgr.dll" via the link
64bit: http://download.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/cs/tool/PDR/PDR12_YouTube/x64/OnlineMgr.dll
32bit: http://download.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/cs/tool/PDR/PDR12_YouTube/x86/OnlineMgr.dll
2. Go to C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector12\runtime\Online
3. rename the file "OnlineMgr.dll" as the backup.
4. copy the downloaded file "OnlineMgr.dll" to C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector12\runtime\Online
5. reboot PC and launch PowerDirctor12 to check again.
For PDIR 10 and PDIR 11 users. please produce to MP4 and upload to YouTube via webfrontend.
Our Team is investigating about possible Solutions for PDIR 10/11/12

OK, so I followd the instructions - but still cannot upload as the "video categories" drop down box only contains dashed lines & the programme insists I select a category before it will allow me to continue!
So, basically, after all that, I'm no further forward!

And, looking at similar threads, PD10.
It would seem that google/YT have recently been playing around - something to do with API (???)

And yet, there's many of us reporting the identical problem as only happening in the last couple of days.
Something may have changed recently, but it has been an issue for years. Have you tried the latest update? I don't know if it's fixed, but you are a few updates behind.
A FEW?!?!
Again, a fault with PD software then? Checked my settings and it's set to automatically check for updates.
However, when I look for updates for PD12, all I see on here is a download dated 3rd December 2014

You'd think that the software bods at cyberlink would be looking into this on our behalf - after all, it now makes their software unfit for purpose.
How about we all go writing reviews around the web - great software if all you want to do is edit stuff & burn to disk but forget it if you want to upload to youtube - as the majority of people who use this software will be using it for.
BTW, Tony, I only found this thread after I posted a new thread. Nothing came up when I searched on cyberlink but a link was posted to this thread via a thread on birdforum.
So much for logicland?

So - it must be related to the way the PDR/YT interface works to connect to Google/YouTube. This was a monster created by Google in 2009, where Google & YouTube accounts had to be linked...Cheers - Tony
And yet, there's many of us reporting the identical problem as only happening in the last couple of days. A search on here brings up 11 results - all happening in last few days & all working perfectly a few days ago.
Although I bought a copy of PD12, my new 'puter (running Win 8.1) came with PD12 & I've been using it to upload vids successfully since February.
My last successful upload was 31st May. A couple of days later & suddenly there's a problem!
|
|
Any solutions yet? Also, what's happened to the other comments that were here?
|
|
I suppose I could produce the video onto my pc then upload to YT later - but that kinda defeats the point of having software to do it for you.
I've looked through my google and youtube accounts as best I can & find nothing wrong.
|
|
Despite numerous successful uploads (latest one being 3 days previous), PD12 goes through the usual screens for me to accept PD12's control then chucks a warning at me that the accounts aren't linked!
I'm not hugely tech savvy & not one to play around with settings etc but it's strange that this was working fine one day & not working a couple of days later.
Any ideas?

I have several YT accounts - to keep my videos in their correct places.
since owning PD8 I have uploaded many, many videos to all my YT accounts without problem - until now.
PD8 was uninstalled when I installed PD11.
But PD11 kept crashing. first vid was OK but the next would cause PD to crash. uninstalol, re-instalol, 1 vid then next would crash!
So, went back to PD8, fresh install from genuine disks etc & now I find I can only upload to one account - all the others throw up a "invalid/inactive username or incorrect password.
I can log into all my accounts directly - no problem, so I know my usernames, email addy and passwords - but PD8 won't allow access.
And has Cyberlink created a patch yet for those horrible lines YT creates? I'm fed up of keep typing yt:stretch on every tag line.
|
|
I don't suppose Cyberlink is planning to give us a patch?
I'm getting fed up of writing the info in the section before I upload.
I found the best result comes from adding yt:stretch=4:3, yt:stretch=16:9 in the tagline before uploading.
|
|
This has been going on for some time now & I'm annoyed that PD hasn't released a patch - I'm running PD8.
I ran a trial version of PD11, it worked fine - once then it started crashing partway through rendering - so I have to uninstall/reinstall, I get 1 upload & the next file crashes - so I guess my old comp can't run PD11.
Only thing that works for me is having to type "yt:stretch=4:3" AND "yt:stretch=16:9" in the tags on every upload - a real PITA.
If I do one without the other, I always get the black lines so I found I have to type both!

|
I'm using PD8 & thought I'd messed something up on my dashcam.
The yt:stretch thing is OK but not really that great.
Best solution I have found is to produce a file in mpeg-4 format (PD automatically creates a 'produce' file in my docs anyway!) then upload this file through YT's video manager/upload file.
