Thanks James and Dave. Both my TV and DVD player are older, but they play all the DVDs I get from Netflix, so that's the "standard" I'd go with.

I'm new to PowerDirector and video production in general. Maybe a dumb question, but, I'm wondering, once I've made a short video, can I output it to a format that I could burn on a DVD, then play in my DVD player to show on my TV?

I assume yes, but didn't see this bit of info. immediately.
