Thanks all! Will try the suggestions and see what happens.
Hello,

I'm running the trial version of PowerDirector 9.0.0.2504. I want to convert my avi files and burn to dvd format, however I keep getting the error message "

"An error occurred while opening this media file in the media library. It may be because the file is broken, an unsupported format, protected video content, or for another reason. Try contacting your video provider for a different video format".

I have tried to see what avi format they are in, but I don't see the info anywhere. I have also had this message appear on some of my mp4 files. FLV's however appear to be imported fine, except for a handful of files.

I'm running Vista 64Bit, 8GB Ram.

Thanks for any info.
