Looking at a HP with i7 intel 8mb with tubo boost to 3.46GHz 1.5 t HD 1gb dedicated ATIRadeon HD5450(DVI,HDMI Win 7 home premium $723.00 free shipping from colocomputer, is that a good unit and a good deal for a refurb, it hA 90 day HP warranty it is a factrory refurb
My current comp 2006 HP Media Center HP 7457C is working better since I updated the video card and the intel duo, it goes to 76 percent when processing but I am not doing HD, used to go to 100 percent for extendid periods, seems to produce faster now
Or I can get the same unit with AMD6core 9gig 2X4+1 DDR31333MHz SDRAM and a Radeon 5770 1 TB HD for 25.00 less, which is best?
One is a 350 the other is a 360

You probable are, but I just want to make sure you know that there is a website where you can downloads tens of thousands of effects, including menus. If you create your own menu, you can upload it to DZone to share.
They also just added "rooms" for Power2Go7 and Labelprint2.5. If you have not visited yet, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the massive amount of effects.

There are direct links to DZ in your program interface.
I am signed up for that but with my brain kicking in and out I must proceed slowly, I used to be very very quick with complicated procedures and this stuff and sincerely appreciate your patience and valuable help
I do remember now that somewhere somehow I encountered a message telling me to check compatability with PD8 and my comp but completely forget where it was

I do not have a Template 10, My originals that came with PD 8 are Template 1 thru 9. I also have a few that I downloaded or created.
You do know that you can modify or even create your own menus within limits.

My favorite by far, since it shows numerous scenes, is there a template exactly like this but with the option of changing themes and backgrounds. like Christmas, Sports, etc etc

Well those two professions are ranked, at least in my country, slightlly below dog and cat dodo, so perhaps Daffidyd
will permit me to ram that relic boat and turn its occupants into fish food
