My favorite by far, since it shows numerous scenes, is there a template exactly like this but with the option of changing themes and backgrounds. like Christmas, Sports, etc etc

Happy Holidays to all

You must post a screen shot of that menu.

I do not have a Template 10, My originals that came with PD 8 are Template 1 thru 9. I also have a few that I downloaded or created.

You do know that you can modify or even create your own menus within limits.

As you are new, 2 questions, what build of PD8 are you using?
Also, are you aware of the DirectorZone?
You probable are, but I just want to make sure you know that there is a website where you can downloads tens of thousands of effects, including menus. If you create your own menu, you can upload it to DZone to share.
They also just added "rooms" for Power2Go7 and Labelprint2.5. If you have not visited yet, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the massive amount of effects.

There are direct links to DZ in your program interface.

I am signed up for that but with my brain kicking in and out I must proceed slowly, I used to be very very quick with complicated procedures and this stuff and sincerely appreciate your patience and valuable help

I do remember now that somewhere somehow I encountered a message telling me to check compatability with PD8 and my comp but completely forget where it was

Hi guys -

At the moment, I'm running PD8.00.2704 and that template appears as Template 4 (see screen shot).

In C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus its folder is labelled 3D Album. The stock images used are in a sub-folder, LayerTemplate1.

No -

C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus is just the file path for the menu template files.

That's the only standard menu template, to my knowledge, with flipping album pages.

Thanks Tony, would be nice if a person could change backgrounds in the flip template, can that be done individually?

I don't know if you can but if you want to play with the menu, make a backup copy of that menu folder and put the copy someplace safe.

I know that you can change some things in the actual menu folders.

Background Pictures for example.

It may be possible to edit the Video also. Remember you must keep the same filename. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

You can change background picture in the Menu Designer.

Pick a menu to modify, click the Modify button, then select a background image.

You can not modify the menu already selected. Select any other menu the modify button will be active.
