Hi and thanks for your input. I looked back at the original files from the phone and most are rotated and on their side when I look at them on windows explorer. I copied them directly onto a flash drive, put into the TV and they remain on their side. When I look at the same ones on the PD timeline they are upright and correct looking. I think i will try some test videos on my phone and try it again at different settings to try and find out where it went wrong. Thanks again.

I have made a video on PD 17 using video from my Samsung Galaxy. It all works well and plays back fine within Powerdirector. When I produce it and save it onto a pen drive to show on the television it is all rotated 90 degrees to the left. Aspect is 9:16

Often when I open powerdirector I get a message saying new smartsound quicktracks available. I say yes to these , it downloads perhaps about 5 new songs but I can never find where they are. The latest one said it loaded Kool Kitsch and Ambient Drama but tried all searches and can not find them. Any ideas?

A certain number of music tracks come bundled with PowerDirector 9 which are fine. How can I add my own tracks say from a CD or from itunes to the Powerdirector timeline as I am starting to get bored with the same songs on my DVDs. Thanks.

I can burn a movie to DVD ok but when I try to upload to youtube or create say a MOV or WMV file, it produces for a few minutes then an error message comes up 'Powerdirector has encountered a problem and has to close'. From that point on the whole computer is locked solid adn I have to switch it off at the computer switch. Only started doing this. I have not added any new software or made any changes that I am aware of. Tried it with very small test moves and it is always the same. Any ideas? Powerdirector 9 and XP home OS. Thanks
