Great thanks Carl312 I'll try that!
Hi Carl312, thanks again for your reply. I am now having trouble burning to MPEG-4, or MPEG-2 as some of my projects wont burn. These are projects with lots of editing on the speed, adding background color, etc. The following errors were reported on the Windows 7 MotionMenuGeneratior Application:

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Users\BTG\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREDC7.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\BTG\AppData\Local\Temp\WER898.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\BTG\AppData\Local\Temp\WERC03.tmp.mdmp

Any idea?

Regards

Bruce
Thanks Carl312 I appreciate your prompt reply. I don't really understand the codec aspect but compatibility with PD is what I am seeking. The quality of MPEG4 seems fairly close to avi.

Hello,

I am hoping to find out why I cant burn to disk using the AVI format but I can the MPEG 4. Any attempt with the AVI format leads to PD Live 12 just locking up and actually not starting the authoring process or burning to disk. I have tried a variety of different DVD disks and I cannot even burn to a folder using the AVI format.

My PD Live is version 12.0.293.0

Perhaps I need to provide more information to obtain some assistance.

Regards

Bruce
Thank you for your replies. Would than mean that Version 10 would be able use more than 4GB ram?
Is version 10 64bit? Thanks for any replies...

Regards

Bruce
