Pity it doesn't work with the ctrl/c shortcut as well then. Well when I checked my order history, it said I had none. So couldn't set up a refund online. Don't know if anybody knows how else I'd go about it?

Gotcha, thanks. No good to me as I got mine via download. Looks like I'm screwed then

Suppose the balance could always tip back to PD8 in that case then. Wonder what Cyberlink's refund policy is?

I've just made the switch from PowerDirector 8 to PowerDirector 9 and I have to say, i'm far from enamoured with the new software, to the point where I have considered uninstalling it and putting version 8 back on. Projects have been tking me longer to compete because little shortcuts that were present in PD8 are seemingly no longer present in PD9, things such as being able to copy already created transitions to other areas on the timeline. Also, pasting a text overlay in the timeline greates gaps in the video clips which are not wanted. If these are simple novice errors then please somebody point out to me how I stop this from happening. I'm determined to persevere though and will be spending the rest of the night watching all the tutorials before I attempt to complete my next project, I have one coming up that I need to do fairly quickly. So far though, I'm a very long way from impressed if I'm honest, the speed increases aren't that great for me either, expected a little bit more from this than I've got so far really.
