Hi, I've made several slide shows before and not had this problem. i've made the show and when i played it back on TV the photos go beyond the screen. I'ts a 16:9 TV but i think that shouldn't matter? I've tried both 16:9 and 4:3
The photo size is 18cm X varying and that shouldn't matter either should it?
Is there a quick way to make the photos fit within the TV boundary in power director without making all the individual adjustments for each photo?
I have about 300 photos in this slideshow and most go outside the boundary

Hi Dafydd, yep that's it. But do i have to change the title on both the root and chapter pages seperately?
i thought when choose apply to all p[ages i only had to do the root page and it would automatically do the chapters page

Hi, have made a menu page but can only get the title on the root page. Please tell me how to put the same title on both pages. Apply to all pages doesn't seem to work.Regards.....tom

I would love to be able to make a clear see through ball with an image in it. Is it possible and can anyone tell me how to do it? I've tried PDTOOTS and can't find it there.........Regards tom

hI,
If i was to paste a picture of my grandson onto the side of a '3d like' circle, how could i get it to roll left to right across the bottom of movie showing him to be rolling as part of it all. I have PD10

WOW Tony. stars and flashing lights! and in such a short time. Would you mind to tell me which effect you used to get the jumping text [ i tried to re-create what you did and couldn't get any to do the jumping. Thought the icicles might be it but didn't do what yours did ] and how you made the stars and flashing lights?......................regards, tom

Hi, is it possible to use chroma key in 2D and 3D text in power director 10. i can't find it. I want to make some 'see through' text on a colour board as intro to a movie. Preferably in 3D. thanks

Hi Barry thanks for the reply. I have one drive for current unfinished movie files and another for burnt and finished movies I sometimes want to re-edit a finished movie using the original timeline files which i have saved in the second drive.
Can you tell me where i can find and how to use the Pack Project Materials function'
It looks like if i can't use this feature i will have to store all current and completed & burnt movies in the same drive?

Hi, hope you all had a great festive season.
My problem now is one i have never conquered even though i've had help with it before.
I've made a movie with pip and particle etc. After i finished it i saved the movie and it's pip ets to a drive other than the one i used during the making of the movie. Problem is now even when i move the files back to original drive all i get is black boxes instead of pip, particles and movie clips It seems you can't move things around to store your work any place other than where you start the job
This of coarse makes it very difficult to reopen, edit etc the old movie Any ideas? Regards tom

Yep, that's the one. I've tried 3 times and every time it is 'interupted' I guess being 1.1Gb. it should be good

Thanks Tony. I hadn't seen the "create new particle object' button, (i and my sand flies spent several hours yesterday trying to conquer this challenge) i brought a particle into timeline and then modify to get started, but when you said it was there i looked harder and found it.

Hi, i've been watching a tutorial in particle making. In modify i am trying to build a particle with introduced particles, and am shown to remove unwanted particles already included. I select the particle but the remove button is inactive so i can not delete them. Is it possible to create a totally blank particle board with just the transparent background which i can work with? I tried to do it in paint but failed. Couldn't save it to particle room... Regards.tom
