Opening project made on Mac free version, in a PC PowerDirector 14 full version

I have a project that I started on my Mac with the free version of PowerDirector. I would like to finish it on my PowerDirector 14, on my PC. Is this possible? If so, how do I do this?

So far I tried to copy the entire folder accross to my PC and to open the project with the PD14 there, on the PC, but it doesn't open. The application goes into a long pause, looking like it's trying to open the project, and then simply comes up with an empty, untitled project.

Thanks

Unfortunately you can't open any project created with a newer version of PD in an older version, so the only possible way of opening your project would be to update your PC to PD20/365.

I also don't know whether projects created on a Mac will be compatible on a Windows device. The Windows version of PD has many more features and going from Windows to Mac would likely cause problems, but maybe Mac to Windows would work fine.

I suggest installing the free WIndows PD20/365 app to at least see if you can open the project before comitting to an upgrade.
