How do I transfer to a new computer? I have installed on a new computer but it seems to be the trail version?

I have many questions, the first of which is what did you install on the new PC?

If you paid for PD19 you would have received one or more large installer files; if you have the subscription version you'll need to download and install the App Manager. You can't download PD19 from the main website as that's the trial version which cannot be updated. Make sure you uninstall it from your new computer.

Also, what are you hoping to transfer? Do you already have a full PD installation on on older PC? If so, and if you have downloaded any content from DirectorZone you'll also need to download it on your new system. If you've created any custom content, you'll have to manually copy that content over.

Depending on which license you have, you may not have to uninstall PD from the original computer. PD365 allows you to install on 2 PCs as long as you only use one at a time. If you paid for a full license of PD19 (not an upgrade), you're allowed to keep the older version on your existing PC, otherwise you're supposed to uninstall it and only use PD19 on one computer.

Hi - I have

PowerDirector 365 (Annual Plan - 12 months)

I have installed Powerdirector 365 on the new computer (it shows name that in the start menu)

But when I start it up it shows the "30 days left" dialogue and prompts me to buy a new copy?

Sounds like I should have insalled the APP manager?

Yes, that's the only way you can install the full version of PD365. You now also must uninstall the trial version before installing the App Manager and installing PD365 from there.

Right click on Windows Start menu and choose Apps & features. Locate Cyberlink PowerDirector 365 and uninstall it. You may want to reboot afterward just to be certain that there isn't anything remaining that might interfere with the installation of the full version.

You may also want to read through these FAQs first. You'll be able to download a new copy of the App Manager from the links there if needed.

This did not address my question. I didn't have any version of PD or trial version of anything on laptop. It is brand new. Still not downloading. Please help.
