maybe they are made for 16:9
so you can't see them, if your timeline is 4:3

AVPLAY VIDEO, thanks for your answer. I already checked the download folder and there is nothing??? (See attachment)

I also tried to download the .dztr files from the DirectorZone onto my computer and then import them. I double click on a transition but nothing happens, and nothing is imported.

1) Can I just copy/paste the .dztr files in the correct folder in the Program Files/Cyberlink folder?? Which one is it??

2) What is the .exe to import content?? Maybe I am missing it... Install went well though, no errors messages...

Thanks again for your help.

I am not aware of downloading transitions successfully and having them added automatically to your media library. I believe there was a bug found last year and don't know if and when it got fixed. You can do a search on this forum to find out.

Try this: download one transition to your download library. Double click on that downloaded transition and there should be a window popup with the message that it has been successfully installed. Go to that library/transition/downloaded and it should be there.

You cannot copy/paste the .dztr files. You double click on it to install it. Hope this helps.

AVPLAY VIDEO, thanks for your answer. I already checked the download folder and there is nothing??? (See attachment)

It's how tomasc showed 2 click on the file “name”.dztr

Check if the transition is present in the folder, “C:\Users\Public\CyberLink\Downloaded Transitions

Hello AVPLAYVIDEO, thank for your answer I checked the “C:\Users\Public\CyberLink\Downloaded Transitions folder, and it is empty. When I double click on a .dztr file it opens the '"how do you want to open this file" windows and suggests PowerDirector. I select it but absolutely nothing happens, that's my problem...

Check the attached screenshot; The download windows indicates some history from when I tried to import transitions, but the downloaded folder stays deseperatly empty

ompblus - This means that effects extractor, a component of PD18 is not correctly installed. You need to reinstall PD18 to solve this problem.

Your Windows must be configured differently
Here just 2 click on the xx.dztr file
If I right click, Open with ... I can choose, Effect Extractor, then OK
If it doesn't solve I don't know XEON-E5-2680 v4 / Mem. 16GB DDR4
M.2 NVME 512Gb / 2-SSD Sata3 1TB
AMD RX570 / Display Philips 272V8
Windows 11_64Pro / PD22/365

Try AVPlayVideo method first as it is the simpliest to associate the effects extractor with the .dztr file. Faster than a reinstallation if you don't have to!! laughing

Hello Tomasc thanks for your answer. That's what I though, and already uninstalled, use ccleaner to clean my registry, and reinstalled. same result Do you know the name of the .exe which should be in C:\Program Files\Cyberlink\PowerDirector18??

FYI, I have Win10.

Maybe you had a problem installing
Check this path if the application is present.
C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\Shared files
If so, clicking on the x.dztr file uses the option to search on the PC and the path above. XEON-E5-2680 v4 / Mem. 16GB DDR4
