welcome to the forum.
that laptop without discrete video card isn't going to work for you. your pain lever will be very high through the roof of your house. laptop's cpu Intel Core i5-7200U @ 2.50GHz score is 4663 well below my 6 years old dell xps Intel Core i7-2720QM @ 2.20GHz at 6116.

below is my recommendations for a laptop and or a desktop for video editing... for your future references go to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ .

# what is the best computer for video editing spec:

CPU - fastest, what you can afford without breaking the bank.
avoid intel cpus with single suffixes ix-xxxx U / M to name a few at all cost!
also avoid AMD APU, if in doubt then check it out at cpubenchmark.net.

CPU: cpubenchmark score ≥8000 / 1920x1080 FHD & ≥10000 / 3840x2160 4K.
Memory: ≥16GB RAM 2400MHz
GPU: ≥2GB VRAM; speed check it out at cpubenchmark ≥5000. for example GTX 1050Ti with 2GB VRam
Best NVMe M.2 SSD: http://www.pcgamer.com/best-nvme-ssds/ ≥ 500GB
Best SATA III SSD: http://www.pcgamer.com/the-best-ssd-for-gaming/ ≥ 500GB
HDD: 7200RPM 128MB cache 6G SATA III 1TB or bigger

this is my recommendations and will serve you very well for a long time with lesser pain.

here's CacoGrande's story Help with specs on a laptop and Replaced PD 15 with happy ending or story continues... ^^
one for the poops and giggles Lagging computer while editing with i5-6200U...

happy happy joy joy

Best $300 I ever spent.....older refurbs may not be for everyone but the machine PepsiMan found for me ROCKS for the money.
I just (today) treated myself to a Samsung 850 EVO 1tb and I cant be happier......so far all is "Happy Happy"
The drive it came with wasnt bad at all though. I am probably going to take out the optical drive and put the HDD in its place.

As for PD it loads like a dream and moves faster than I would have thought....My projects are mostly simple by some standards but it handles 1080p with ease and on a test project I threw all sorts of effects/speed changes, transitions, titles, stills, zooms, color adjustments, multi track audio adjustments, etc and it performed very much to my satisfaction. Produce/render times dramatically reduced. Makes life so nice when you want to see a produced segment quickly....

Only thing I am still trying to get a handle on is NVIDIA GPU utilization. From what I can tell it is NOT being utilized in PD. But thats a somewhat known issue. The integrated processer is holding its own. I dont game or do any 3D stuff so for now its secondary.

So yes it isnt cutting edge but it runs in the pack with machines more than 2x the price even after SSD upgrade.

Good find and awesome help PepsiMan.........Thanks again.

Soon my specs will be in my signature....once I figure out how to do it ! ____________________________________

If you got the Nvidia quadro workstation graphics card then it may very well work with hardware encoding. You will have to use one of the older or original quadro driver and not the newer geforce drivers offered by windows 10.

Thank you. I did go to Nvidia and selected the card I have. Is there more to it than that ?

This is my first time at the rodeo with regard to that. I may even not realize if/when it is being utilized. Is there a way to know for sure ?
