Hi all and best wishes for the New Year.

May this year be better than all the terrible things we hear and see in the news... .

--------------------------

I wish to give a cinematic effect to videos. The well-known black strips above and beneath the video. What is the way to do that in PD(14)? Can someone point to a video tutorial on YT,Vimeo, others?

Thanks.

i made this using PD10; however, it'll work with PDs.

it'll require doing some work, stretching and compressing...

Happy editing.

Thanks Pepsiman for the tutorial. Looks like a time consuming task but is not when formats are recorded . I think Adorage or Vitascene has a possibility to do so too. Seen it in VideoStudio 7.

Hi Alain,

For what it's worth, I asked a very similar question not long ago:

http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/46505.page

Maybe you'll find some of the techniques suggested there helpful. I did!

Good luck,
Dave B.
