I am trying to set an edit at the exact moment when a certain sound occurs, but when I go frame-by-frame, I don't hear the sound. Is there any way to hear the sound when moving frame-by-frame? Zorikh

Nope, what I do is make the audio track larger so I can "see" where the sound is. It's a poor representation of the audio wave but it works for me. Then I "mark" the timeline (Shift+M). Then on the bottom most video track I add a White or Bright-Green Color Board with a duration of 1 frame at the mark. I then select a range and watch over and over, adjusting the Color Board until it's in the right place. Then I move the mark.

Hope that helps CyberPowerPC | Win7HP-64 | AMD FX-8320 3.5 Ghz | 8GB Mem | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB | WEI 5.9

I don't know what a "color board" is yet, but the process seems like a rather complex workaround.simply togling between a few frames to figure out there the sound is was pretty easy.

Well, I guess that will be my request for the PD14!

Thanks. Hopefully the other conveniences and improvements over Adobe Premiere will be worth this one inconvenience. Zorikh

Hi Zorikh -

Why don't you add your idea to the *suggestions* thread?

Another product I use does exactly what you're asking and it's a real plus when you're trying sync video actions, images & transitions with particular sounds. I'd love to see that in PDR!

Cheers - Tony
