Hello all on CL.

I have a bit of a problem with cyberlink PD13. After i reinstalled my computer and put in my new asus nvidia gtx 970 card, the videos that i am trying to do starts to flickering and well jumping all over the place. think of it as tearing in a video.

Here you can see my computer specs

Intel core i7 4770k 3,50GHz

main board asus maximus vi hero

16 gb ram 1600MHz ddr3

geforce gtx 970 strix card

and around 5tb hard disk and a 128 ssd (windows8 is only on the ssd)

the program i am using to record the video is OBS and they are not flickering at all when i just look at the raw video but as soon as i am trying to fix it in PD13 it just wont work, And the funny thing is that it worked great before the reinstallation. Is there any one that know what i can do to fix this or is it no hope for me?.

Also i am recording the videos in 1080p 60 fps but it says in PD13 that its 58.82 and need 59.94 could that be the problem or is that just a small thing?

Hope you guys can help me on this one
Best regards Madhatter

Hi,
Please record a 5 to 10 seconds as a sample video and upload it here as an attachment. members can then test and check out what the issue might be/guess.
Please provide a diagnostic of your PC. See guide, Part A & B info requested. Link: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40225.page

Hi Dafydd thanks for answering but i think i found the problem its my new GTX 970 that isent working with PD13 for some wierd reason. Because i just changed back to my old card and it worked. So dont know what kind of problem it is. if its hardware or some wierd config. But i will change back again and then do a dxdiag info

I have an Asus laptop with a GTX860 that PD13 does not use. It is using the Intel HD 4600 video. So far it works fine.

I have tried to change the default video to Nvidia card, but so far no luck. When I set the default to GTX 860 for GP studio the video quit completely.
I am interested to see if there is a way for PD13 to use Nvidia card? I will stay tuned to see if someone has a solution?

Thanks Greg

Hi Dayfydd

i have read the posts on that forum thread but not sure what you wanted me to look for. That thread was mostly about 960 and that the pd14 will maybe have the correct inputs for the new cards.

okay i found the problem and it was the hardware decoding in hardware acceleration thats in preferences menu. That made it stutter it was checked but then comes the question. Why is that the stuttering comes on the new graphic card and not in old one?.
