Hi...

Where do I suppose to find the proDAD Effects? As we can see in the screenshot of the attachment, I can see only one effect with proDAD Effects, but suppose to be over 300 effects.

I can't find any manual too.

Regards,
Joseph

You can go to ProDAD, start an account, and download an Adorage trial for another FX package, #12 and #13.
I'm having a hard time pinning down exactly which Adorage package is free with PD13. I did just buy #8. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

Hi Joseph & all -

Finding ProDAD Adorage tutorials in English isn't such an easy thing. German language users are pretty well catered for.

I came across these (written) tutorials - http://declic-video-fx.com/proDAD/Tutorials.aspx - and assembled the relevant ones as PDF files (in the attached zip).

They show how to use the Standard module (i.e. create your own effects & transitions rather than using the templates).

Cheers - Tony

I'm in the same boat, Barry! I haven't seen hide nor hair of Volume 9 - I've only seen others refer to it. PDR13 was installed as part of DS3.

Did your purchased volumes install correctly? Are they listed at the Root level in the Adorage Effect window?

Cheers - Tony

I appear to have Vol 9 & 13?

Certainly plenty of choices in Vol 9 and a smaller variety under Vol 13

PD13 installed with DS3

Volume 9 was a separate install and download but contained in the list of files. adorage-vol9-64bit.exe for 64 bit and also one supplied for 32 bit platforms.

The basic install of PD and content packs only install vol 11.

I have "Standard" and Volume 13, I bought 8 and 9. Downloaded the 12 trial (watermark)
The Volume 13 we have from DS3 is very different from the Volume 13 on the Prodad website.
However, they seem to be (in part) particle generator modules, the deeper you dig, the more you find the ways to adjust them. FANTASTIC addition to the Cyberlink family. I'm having a blast with a VHS conversion from 1994. A relative from Rhode Island went to Cancun and it's Jersey Shore meets the 3 Stooges meets Flock of Seagulls' stylist. Adorage is making it too easy to have fun with this.
This alone is worth the upgrade. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

If 9 is included and I missed it, where does a crab find it? And my refund...

Jeff,
"list of files" - in the setup, or in the content packs?
( I will have to extract to a folder to see list of files.....IF vol 9 is there )

Thanks for that Jeff. It gets a closer to resolution.

Barry - it appears that the installed Adorage packages are determined by which download/acquisition route was taken.

Jeff's is a purchased. MVP's are provided. I'm not wishing to get you started Jeff The download packages are apparently different.

In any case, there's something not right. I've flicked off help requests to ProDAD and CL.

Cheers - Tony

Asking Prodad for a refund when I got the program (from CL) as a "perk" seems kinda off to me, I'll have to think about that one. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Well, it's probably not likely to have an answer by (my) tonight......

If volume 9 is to be packed with DS3 - I guess we should obtain it somehow.

I never got an actual badge...

When you exercise your privilege to directly contact them to resolve your Adorage 9 issues, maybe you can inquire about your missing badge too. Appears they owe you that too.
