Hmm,
we seem to have veered off topic in a most unfortunate way. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.

Well, although I still think that version 13 upgrade is kind of minor, I decided to upgrade after I received kind of special offer. But - my decision was based almost primarily on two things - Adorage plus better titler.

I am quite shocked - NewBlue reports, my HW is not good enough. Now WTF? PD simply flies on my HW. And proDad? In the instructional video, I can see much more effects! Mine (downloaded in terms of Suite3) contains only the 13 category, and it contains only 4 subcategories.

Now - how do I get a complete package? If proDAD is not complete and I don't get the TitlerPro running, it is going to be for the first time in my computer history, that I am thinking about asking for a refund

Power Director 13 with Windows XP SP3 32 Bits
I can only see ADORAGE Vol 13. No Vol 9.
Power Director 13 with Windows 8.1 64 Bits
I can only see ADORAGE Vol 13 with only 4 Options
Hearts. Rings, Wreaths and Universal Transitions
which is far less than the 32 bits and still no Vol 9

If you read Jeff's post above - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40364.page#208592 - you'll see that Adorage Vol. 9 is a separate download. Have a look at his attached screenshot.

It was only a early purchase promotion offer for a limited time and was advertised on the sale page as such, I don't think CL includes ProDAD ADORAGE Vol.9 as part of a non promotional purchase. You are on your own to purchase if you like.

JL_JL: that's imo not true and ppl should not be treated like that. We are premium PD Suite 3 buyers and proDAD is clearly mentioned in the offer, as well as there should be a mention, that NewBlue Titler does not work with Intel HD graphics cards.

Here's the Suite 3 accompanied video tutorial and as you can see, even the Adorage 13 includes many categories in the video, whereas we just got 4 of them:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QbROdNHyMVM#t=188

So, as for me, it clearly is the case for the Tech support to clarify (make things clear) and to eventually resolve ...

Hi -pekr-

Of necessity, that tutorial was made using a pre-release (beta) version of PDR13, & it's possible the same Adorage effects didn't make it into the final build. Did you also notice that Vol. 9 wasn't present in the PDR13 used in the tutorial?

The comparison table - http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector-ultimate/compare_en_AU.html - isn't specific about which Adorage volumes are included.

"Limited Launch Bonus" as seen in pic for Effects 9, yes PD13 includes some Adorage offering, just not Effects 9 when I bought. I found no place that indicates what Adorage effects were included when I was purchasing, CL only states "proDAD Adorage Filter" which really is not inline with any Adorage offerings that I see. http://www.prodad.com/home/products/videoeffects/ado,l-us.html

Work with support, maybe they will throw you a bone.

I have written to ProDAD regarding the Adorage vol 13 difference in Windows XP(17 options)
and Windows 8.1(only 4 options). They inform me that the Windows 8.1 version is a special version
and not the full version, whereas the Windows XP is the full version hence the difference.
I have also written to Cyberlink regarding the missing download link for Adorage Vol 9.
I am happy to inform other members that Cyberlink has now sent me the download links for Adorage Vol 9(32/64 bit versions).

Since the adorage effect has extra steps, would it be possible to copy and paste effect into another clips?

Joseph
