Thank you for contacting CyberLink Technical Support.
I understand your concern related with audio output while playing Blu-ray disc Cinmea mode, using CyberLink PowerDVD 10 software.
I would like to inform you that if you are not able to play the Blu-ray disc that means issue related with the hardware on your computer or it might be possible that the Blu-Ray disc encrypted with latest technology.
Please update your Video and Audio drivers. If you have installed any playback software, please uninstall it as it may be conflicting with PowerDVD software.
If problem still persist, please provide us the following information, so that I can try to find the cause of the issue and assist you accordingly:
1. Please send us the CollectUserInfo.cab : Steps to generate "CollectUserInfo.cab":
Note: Make sure you logged in as an "Administrator".
Step 1:
Download the tool and double click CLCollectUserInfo.zip (given below) to unzip files. The winzip will create the folder name, CLCollectUserInfo.
Tool Download:

Step 2:
Select the folder, CLCollectUserInfo, and double click “CollectUserInfo.exe”
Step3:
Click on “Collect” button.
Step 4:
Once the process finish, click the “Cancel “button to close the program.
Step 5:
Provide send "CollectUserInfo.cab" to us. (The CollectUserInfo.cab will be stored on “CLCollectUserInfo” folder)
2. Please let me know your graphics card's brand and model.
3. Please let me know the model number of your display device(monitor) you are using.
4. Please let us know how you are making connections to display device [The connection of DVI or HDMI (DVI-2-HDMI, HDMI-2-DVI, or another converter if used)]
5. Please provide me the DxDiag file for analysis if the issue persists.
DxDiag.txt: You can use the steps that follow to create this file:
Start-->Run-->Type dxdiag-->click "OK"-->Save All Information-->A DxDiag.txt file will be created.
6. Let me know the BD DVD's titles you are trying to play. Make sure that, you are able to browse the disc, using Windows Explorer/Computer.
7. Try multiple formats of the Videos and let me know, if issue is with any specific format, disc or file.
8. Details of the Audio settings selected in Audio tab of PowerDVD configuration. Also, let me know the details of the settings selected in Sound settings of Windows Control panel.
9. Details of your connection between speaker and computer.
10. Format of Video/Audio played by you and the information you are getting in OSD, while playing that Video.
11. Try different format of Video's and check for the result. Also, use the test in sound settings of Window, to ensure that speaker system is working.
12. Let me know the Serial number. SR should be like "SR_No=XXXXXX_XX". Please follow the link given below to know how to find the serial number:

"If you have installed any playback software, please uninstall it as it may be conflicting with PowerDVD software. " I did this and it started working. But that is an UGLY fix. What if I needed the other playback software? I was lucky because at this time, I didn't. But you can't just take for granted that people have to remove alot of software they need or have paid for just so that PowerDVD is going to work. PowerDVD should be able to work WITH my othe software, or else it's pretty useless.
