Hi BG

I can't seem to replicate your issue.

Mine's blank

I'm using 2817 though.

http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/38494.page

Oddly enough it shows up as v2816 in the Display Program Version Information (top left camera)

G'day Barry & Neil -

A bit of digging around tells me that many of the downloaded menus made by Bienlein43 from Germany exhibit the same thing. I've never come across that in any other menu.

Neil - as they're text effects, that option only shows when you have text selected. Not all the time because I guess text effects weren't applied (???).

Here she is - http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/profile/effect/4091374/upload/#MT__TimeUploaded__1__16__open__thumb - test a couple if you want.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks T

The only IDS I have are on the NewBlue Essentials 1 to lV??

I have to select Details in the drop down box to read what FX they are

I don't suppose you have a 'fix' do you?

Neil,
The xml script in C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files\PlugIn\NewBlue looks like it isn't being read correctly.

Barry,
The xml script in C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files\PlugIn\10.0 looks like what Neil is getting. Reminds me of the Alpha Transition naming.
Title naming is also located in the same xml file.
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files\PlugIn\10.0\CES_DSPInfo_ENU.xml

1. Please apply 2817 patch - might correct the issue.
2. Try to revert back to the last release full patch, away from the beta, 2726.
3. Have you played with the xml files and created some Alpha Transitions C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files\PlugIn\10.0\CES_DSPInfo_ENU.xml ?
4. You may need to uninstall/reinstall PDR12 via the control panel to correct the situation. Make sure you back up your data.

Dafydd

I avoided the Alpha transition project until maybe it becomes more "mainline".
It seems the issue with naming is isolated, so I'll live with it, just caught me off guard. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Neil, as mentioned your Newblue xml files are somehow not being read incorrectly. (What version of PD 12 are you using?)

Also hover your mouse pointer over the "NewBlue Essentials...(20)" and let me know what the popup says? I have most of them 1-6 and the Art, Motion, Paint Essentials working well with PD 12 ... took a bit of finagling to get them all to play nicely at first.

Anyway a couple ways to fix this that has worked for me in the past:

1.) Try reinstalling your original PD 12 install files that Cyberlink sent you. Restart your machine afterwards.
2.) Otherwise make a backup copy of your entire NewBlue directory (Located in "Program>Cyberlink>Shared Files>Plugin>NewBlue" directory) for safety purposes and then copy the attached 7zipped files which includes the NewBlue Essentials 1-3 xml and dlls to the same "Program>Cyberlink>Shared Files>Plugin>NewBlue" directory.

(Use the Zip or 7z programs to un-7z the attached zipped file obviously.)

Let me know if that works.

Hi Rob

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm using v2817 and the NewBlue Essentials reads:

Name: NewBlue Essential Effect 1
Preset: Yes
Media Files: 20

I'm a bit reluctant doing an uninstall etc as my 'workaround' selecting Details works fine.
