Last year I purchased PD9 with the aim of doing a HD BluRay disc of my son's wedding with menus, chapters etc. After spending hours trying to achieve this task I have had no success. I have trawled through the forum trying to find answers and tried many things so this post is a last resort. I recently increased the RAM on my PC from 4 to 8Gb but alas no closer to success. I have uninstalled PD and reinstalled to version 9.0.0.3305. I am using Vista and my PC specs are in the attached zip file along with screen dumps from PD9.
I edited the file and then have tried to create a Bluray disc by burning to folder first. I have tried this on numerous occasions. Most times it stops with an error message at 4-7% completion. The project is about 1 1/2 hours long. On a couple of occasions it rendered for about 7 hours but all I ended up with was audio and black video. Today I deleted all bar one video clip and tried to burn the project to folder but it still crashed. I think the video came from a Panasonic video camera and is MTS type.
I have come to the realisation that perhaps my PC and graphic card may not be up to the task. Would someone please have a look at the attached specs and perhaps put me out of my misery?
Thanks
Bob
