I have tried almost every format powerdirector offers, and it is either low quality, skippy, or it freezes frames for like 10 seconds. What format should I use with GoPro clips?

I use mpeg4 720P 1280X720 and a bitrate of 8000 settings. That is what settings I shoot most of the video from my motorcycle at on the GoPro at 720P. If I'm upload them to Vimeo or youtube I set the bitrate to 6000. Here a link to one of my videos https://vimeo.com/37077335 But I alway do one at 8000 bitrate from my self to watch on the TV.

Many new users of video editing apps do not realize (it is not mentioned in the user manuals) that what they see in their "PREVIEW" window is not what the final video clip will look like. Only if one has a fast multi-core PC and an associated video graphics processor does the "PREVIEW" window look similar but not exactly like the final rendition. When in doubt "produce" a short clip and see how it looks. Win 10, i7

Up until last week I produced most of my 180 GoPro Videos at 17MBps in H.264 AVC .m2ts until I saw this post from Brygard
http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/23856.page

I still produce at 17MBps H.264 AVC but then run it through Vidcoder with Brygard's settings and now get the same excellent quality at more than half the size for uploading. My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

I had PD recommend a custom codec to match my GoPro videos. I now use that and have access to SVRT. Unfortunately, PD often recommends a format and then won't let me select it. I haven't figured that one out, yet. __________________________________
