Create disk Menu-question

Hi,
I am running PD10 Ultra on win 7 64Bit machine. I am trying to create my own disk menu from my own images. I am trying to mimic PD10 Template2, but there is a road block for me. I have the root menu and chapters menu figured out, bu what I can't figure out how they the opening 'scene' there is no link to the 'first Play' in the tab bars at the bottom. Where is that intro 'scene' created? It seems to flawlessly lead-in to the root menu, but if you got to modify the menu it just gives the 'root chapters and subtitles, it does not refer to any intro video.
Hope I am clear on what I want to accomplish.

James -

Menus are easy to modify in PD, just as long as you don't want to do anything adventurous!

You'd be aware of the folders that contain the menu files & their location... http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/20486.page#108488

Template 2 (Petal to its friends) has its source files located at C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\templates\PowerDirector Content Pack 10\PowerDirector 10 Content Pack I\Menus... & to complicate it further, there's a duplicate folder at C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus - beats me why.

The two butterfly videos that play before & with the root menu are called "butterfly_opening" (plays first) & "butterfly_chapter_3". They are located in the background folder (file path above). The .xml file dictating their behaviour is in the same folder.

Now - you can replace the butterfly videos with your own by simply renaming your 2 videos "butterfly_opening" & "butterfly_chapter_3"

BUT - here's the rub. You need to make sure your frame & mask placement in your video match the default ones. i.e. the frame where the root menu thumbnail plays. You'll find all that stuff in those sub-folders.

Cheers - Tony
