The thread this needed to be in is closed thankfully, however, before motor mouth takes his pills he needs to know that Cray is not some Ozzy slang

I made the comment to see the specs of his 'mini Cray', most of us would know that Cray manufactures the worlds SUPER computers.....

I hope that clears thing up for him, last thing I would want to do is look at any parts of his anatomy

David

No need to apologise you have a tough job and I have a tough hide, take more than that to upset me.

I just feel sorry for those poor misguided fools.

While I'm at it! Merry Christmas to you, yours, and the sheep and all the forum members not on medication :

I must be getting old. Never heard of any use of the word "cray" in that way.

Hi !

A very unexpected visit by me to a thread like this ! :

You "regulars" know that technical stuff is not very interesting to me
(as long as I know approximately where to look/search when things go wrong).
Googling the cray-thing, and reading a little, I remembered one of the many
talks/orations/lectures I read or watched about a year ago.
If you are not enchanted by computertech-stuff, but still - sort of
living in present time - and you now and again spend a quiet nighthour thinking
about stuff.....I can recommend this talk by Kevin Kelly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDYCf4ONh5M
All I can say: interesting to listen to!

Fred: trolls are a part of Norwegian traditional tale-telling/belief/culture.
Your avatar here looks more kinda like a stone-age man than a troll to me :
If you do a search for ex. "troll, kittelsen"- you should find a few trolls!

Just something.

1Nina;
I saw some of the troll images that were Norwegian, but I thought them too scary for the avatar. Just trying to be a little "whimsical', with the troll...old, smiling and a wizard staff...etc.

I have suddenly become aware why my children call me the world's oldest Geek! I never knew Cray meant anything other than the Super computer thing! and of course a shortened word for Crayfish.

I really must get out more

Thanks for turning this thread into more fun than it started out as, after all it is the season to be nice to each other
