The setup, equipment, and knowledge on using the components are crucial to do a live stream on the road in traffic. Here is a short clip showing moving cars and motorbikes in traffic with the rider and passenger talking to each other. No post production with the audio is done. Recording is done on a right hand held Samsung Galaxy Note 10 on a gimbal.

Here is one setup on a motorbike. In the left view mirror you see the rider has a chest mounted Samsung Galaxy Note 10 for the live streaming. In other portions of video a windscreen can be seen placed over the mikes when there is a reflection. The rider does voice narration while on the road.

Downloaded AllMotoTire’s video. Processed it using Audacity noise reduction. The wind flutter has been reduced and the voice is now more clear in this edited video uploaded to YT: https://youtu.be/spXYaRkNiV8 .

The audio in the video seems to be acceptable now. As optodata points out, a windscreen on the mike used is a better alternative to doing post production with the audio.

The phones used in the bike videos that I view regularly have a homemade windscreen on both the front and the rear microphones. No external mics were ever needed or used. Hope this helps… Let us know what you think...
